Program Overview

Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia’s Post Adoption Services Program utilizes the evidence-based Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) approach developed by Dr. Karen Purvis and Dr. David Cross. The Goal of the program is to help educate, support and provide tools and materials to help families maintain successful adoptive placements, especially for families who have adopted children from difficult backgrounds.

Three levels (Tiers) of support are available and families may work in collaboration with their social worker and/or Catholic Charities staff to determine which Tier of service would be most appropriate for them.

All services are provided FREE of charge
